An interior decorator’s chic best friend
Being an interior decorator, for me, every room has to have its own character. For rooms that have very large open areas, rugs are a good way of sprucing up the room. It is probably one of the quickest and easiest ways to make a room change its appearance. And given that they come in a variety of designs — different shapes, different colors, different patterns, they can easily be chosen to suit the designer’s vision for the room. I especially like using area rugs for this purpose since their larger sizes often mean that they will be the first to draw the attention of the people coming into the room. Recently, I heard from another designer friend that she started buying items online since there are usually better deals and it is much easier to search for the item that you neer rather than going from store to store. I decided to give it a try as well. I decided to go hunting for a couple of pieces for my upcoming projects when I came across this site. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had such a wide variety to choose from. I was immediately like a kid in a candy store - but with a credit card. Their site was very appealing. I was easily able to find the pieces I needed since the items were arranged very logically. You can search for items either based on their size or based on their overall design. Shopping was definitely a breeze since they also have a wide variety of payment options to choose from. And the fact that delivery is free is definitely a big plus. No need for me to be lugging around a big and bulky rug from the store. Overall, this is definitely a place where you can find cheap rugs but are still of very high quality.
As an interior decorator, I try to make sure that lighting is an issue that is never overlooked. And as such, we try to work with the architects to incorporate as much windows as possible into the design of the structure. These windows, however, can sometimes be too plain and be underwhelming in the overall design of the house. The easiest way to spruce up these windows is through the use of window treatments — namely
